This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through GLAAMS (“Platform”, “GLAAMS”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking services through the Platform, clients and providers agree to comply with the following cancellation, rescheduling, late arrival, and no-show policies.
1. Nature of the Platform
GLAAMS is a marketplace platform that connects independent beauty and wellness professionals (“Providers”) with clients seeking at-home beauty and wellness services.
GLAAMS facilitates appointment scheduling and payment processing but is not the direct provider of beauty or wellness services.
2. Client Cancellations
More Than 24 Hours Before Appointment
Clients may cancel an appointment more than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time and receive a full refund.
Less Than 24 Hours Before Appointment
Appointments cancelled less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time are non-refundable.
No-Show Policy
If the client does not appear at the appointment location, is unreachable, provides an incorrect address, refuses access at the scheduled time, or fails to attend the appointment for any reason, the booking will be considered a “No-Show”.
No-shows are subject to a full charge and are non-refundable.
3. Rescheduling Policy
Clients may request to reschedule an appointment more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, subject to Provider availability.
Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and may not be eligible for a refund.
4. Provider Cancellations
Providers are expected to honor all confirmed appointments and maintain professional reliability standards.
If a Provider cancels an appointment:
• GLAAMS may assist the client in finding a replacement Provider; • the appointment may be reassigned where possible;
• or the client may receive a full refund.
Repeated Provider cancellations or reliability issues may result in temporary suspension from accepting bookings through the Platform.
Providers with repeated cancellations may be restricted from receiving new bookings for a period of ten (10) days or longer at GLAAMS’ discretion.
5. Late Arrival Policy Client Delays
Delays of up to 15 minutes are generally acceptable.
Delays exceeding 30 minutes may result in: • shortened treatment duration;
• partial completion of services;
• or appointment cancellation without refund.
Provider Delays
If a Provider expects to be late, they should notify the client as soon as reasonably possible.
6. Access & Appointment Conditions
Clients are responsible for:
• providing accurate address and contact information;
• ensuring safe and reasonable access to the appointment location;
• ensuring appropriate hygiene and working conditions;
• ensuring that pets, smoking, excessive noise, or unsafe conditions do not interfere with the service.
Providers may refuse or terminate a service if they reasonably believe the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.
7. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for informing Providers in advance of allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or any condition relevant to the booked service.
GLAAMS and Providers reserve the right to refuse services where health or safety concerns exist.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
GLAAMS may, at its sole discretion, make exceptions to this Cancellation Policy in cases involving emergencies, severe weather, accidents, verified medical situations, force majeure events, or other exceptional circumstances.
10. Abuse of the Platform
GLAAMS reserves the right to suspend or permanently restrict accounts engaging in abusive cancellations, fraudulent refund requests, harassment, inappropriate conduct, fake bookings, or misuse of the Platform.
11. Policy Updates
GLAAMS reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated versions will be published on the Platform and become effective upon publication.
